Ameer F. Gopalani
Associate
Ameer Gopalani is an associate at Reid Collins & Tsai. Ameer received his B.A. in Economics from Columbia University in New York City and his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. During law school, he served as a member of the TEXAS LAW REVIEW, where he published his student note in the area of international law. At the time, he was also selected to clerk on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, where he assisted with prosecutions of war crimes.
After graduating from law school, Ameer practiced law at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington D.C., where he represented clients in a wide variety of complex business litigation, including bankruptcy litigation, securities lawsuits, civil RICO matters, and health care fraud litigation. During his time in D.C., he also served as Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, advising senior Congressional Members on an array of civil and criminal initiatives, including criminal justice, cybercrime, money laundering, financial fraud, and fraud on the government.
Ameer is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Washington D.C.
